Project Runway: Did Jeffery Cheat?
11 October 2006It’s amazing what a big softy I am. As soon as I heard everyone’s history on “Project Runway” tonight my idea of them changed. I saw Uli not as a party girl but someone from East Germany with a dream, Jeffery as a dad & recovering drug addict. I saw Laura as the keeper of the turtle poop & Michael with braces. I love Laura’s line that she wants to win so Jeffery won’t. I appreciated Tim as someone who can actually offer useful advice. Tim’s idea of a collection is to make it look like it came from the same woman’s closet, which is a brilliant way of looking at it. The big scandal was when Laura accused Jeffery of not sewing his own collection. It’s amazing how the other designers backed her up, it makes them look petty & that they have no confidence in their own collections. Jeffery said something to the effect of umm yeah it’s Bryant Park. The preview for next week has Tim Gunn saying that there’s been an investigation & unfortunately…then it shows Jeffery crying & Uli comforting him. I think Jeffery was honestly surprised by the accusations, so either they aren’t true or he is just surprised he got caught. So what do you think, did he or didn’t he?
