However, December’s birthstones are: blue topaz, blue zircon, turquoise, or tanzanite. See a theme? All of these are blue-ish. To me nothing accents a blue gemstone the way silver/white gold does. It looks absolutely perfect, like ice. I like aquamarine for this time of year because it is light enough to make people wonder if it’s a diamond, but still has a hint of color. Plus, it is inexpensive, so you still have money to get your family presents. Families are funny like that. So next time that enamel wreath brooch calls your name, think, which one of these would you rather have?
