The Spirit of Giving
11 December 2006Christmas is about giving…to me. When I turned 15, my brother thought “What should I get for my sister, a cd, or maybe a shirt, hey I know, a tomahawk”. I still have that tomahawk, but let’s face it, a lot of times we don’t get what we want. True, it’s not all about us, but every year I try to buy myself a little something to celebrate making it through the stress of the holidays. One year a foot massager, lots of earrings, Gilmore Girls DVD’s, just something to celebrate the holiday in my own way. I’ve never bought myself another tomahawk, but there is always time.
