Fictional Photo Album

2 January 2007

Why do you want a picture that no one can see?  So you can make up great stories. You no longer have to be reigned in by “reality” or “good taste”.  Seriously, what has reality done for you lately? It’s actually pretty fantastic having your own fictional photo album.  You can make your own quite easily, here’s how:

1.  Put your hand in front of the camera & then take a picture.  This picture could be almost anything.

2.  Develop a roll of blank film. Forget all that handy digital photography.  It’s just holding you back with all its realistic colors.

3.  Paste your head over “the other guy” in celebrity photos. You know, the person that’s always next to Matt Damon at the Academy Awards, but is just one of the “little people”.  You could be a little person too, no one will ever know.  Finally, a way to have the life you want but are just too lazy to go out & get.

I don’t really need a new hp digital camera or photo printer. I’m doing just fine without them. I share a digital camera with my family & it’s working great!  It’s my turn to use it about it about every 3 weeks. For instance, above is a picture of my friends birthday party last week.  That’s me in the tiara.  The one on the left. I know, my hair was a little messy that day, but the tiara at least looks good.  Here is another picture of when I met child star Emmanuel Lewis.  He was such a great guy, so nice.

When I finish taking my photos I usually go to an unnamed superstore to have them printed out.  Last time I went they refused to give me the copies of the pictures because they thought I was breaking copyrights.  The pictures were just too good, granted I am a wizard with photoshop, but I had to walk away without any evidence of my mountain climbing excursion. I just hope when I have kids someday, they will understand why they have pictures of vacations they can’t remember.  A digital camera could save me thousands in future therapy costs.
