Single Awareness Day
11 January 2007I can either take or leave Valentine’s day. It’s nice if I get presents, but it’s also “Single Awareness Day”. I love to be single & it makes me sad to be around everyone who doesn’t. So on the road to Valentine’s day I am going to try to do three things.
1. Post thoughtful gifts on a budget.
2. Blog about ways to not scare your b/f off in your big anticipation for this made up holiday.
3. Try to make being single easier on Valentine’s Day easier for those who aren’t thrilled with it.
4. Try not to get beat up for calling it a made up holiday.
Wow this is more work than Christmas. However, if I can turn it from single awareness day to “rocks to be single awareness day” even just for one person, even if that person is myself, it will be worth it.
