Anyways, you might want to propose with a tanzanite ring. Tanzanite is very popular right now, & it is depleting rapidly. Plus it was originally marketed by "Tiffany & Co.", what girl wouldn’t love that?
This means that your intended will have a unique ring that will be many times more rare than a diamond. However, tanzanite prices have skyrocketed because of the whole depleting thing. Plus, tanzanite isn’t the hardest gemstone. I’ve had several tanzanite rings & they’ve always held up very well, but you might want something a little more durable. Consider a ceylon sapphire, you get the same great color for a fraction of the price. Sapphire is one of the hardest gemstones, so it should last forever.
