January has gone by so fast I am really going to have to hustle to share all of my posts about January’s birthstone, the garnet. That, or I could just add more days to January, which seems to be an ideal solution. I really need to work on that. Here is a different kind of garnet called hessonite. It is often referred to as the "cinnamon stone" because it is well, the color of cinnamon. Actually, it could taste like cinnamon, but I still think it’s due to the reddish-orange color. Well, I guess the cinnamon color is a more accurate way of describing it. This gemstone would look great worn with browns, taupe, oranges, reds, or cinnamon.
