Demantoid Garnet

By far my favorite garnet is called the green dragon demantoid garnet. If I ever form a band that will be its name, green dragon demantoid garnet. It is the most rare, & most expensive garnet gemstone. Fine pieces can sell for over thousands per carat. Russian demantoid has inclusions of feathery golden curvey threads that resemble the tail of a horse. These actually make the gem more valuable unlike most inclusions.
