When my mom’s mom past away we kept all of her jewelry. It was all costume, which was fine with me. We had boxes & boxes full. However, my mom wanted me to have something nice from my grandma so she gave me a part of what little inheritance money she had to buy something special for me. Again, I tried to jam too many things in, instead of just getting one nice piece. I got a pink tourmaline ring in white gold & a very small sapphire & diamond ring. I also got a small ruby ring in a filigree setting, I don’t know where the picture went. Some jewelry journalist I am. All of these purchases were from ebay & the most expensive was about $50. They are sparkly though & always remind me of my grandma.
