Save yourself a headache
26 February 2007I think that cell phones are becoming the new fashion accessory, I don’t even carry a watch anymore. However, it’s one of the few accessories that we have to pay to use, year after year, so it can be an intimidating purchase. We’ve all seen the commercials for free cell phones. Who doesn’t like free right? I know I do. When I shop for phones, I admit that I choose the prettiest phone, which isn’t the best decision making skill. A lot of companies will hit you with plans that you don’t need, or cost a lot more than you think they will.
I recently tried to help my parents figure out a cell plan. It was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done in my life. It took me all afternoon without arriving at any decisions. There are a lot of things I would have rather done with my precious spare time. It was worse than finals at college. I felt that my brain had been permanently fried.
There were just so many things to take into account & for the life of me, I couldn’t figure it out. However, in the long run, it should save me a lot of trouble because I now understand the plan & phone I have & feel comfortable that it will work well & look good & get me through the next few years.
