Another way to wear amethyst

Maybe you still aren’t loving amethyst but you feel obligated to own at least one piece because it’s your birthstone. Trust me, I have the same problem with my July Birthstone. A great way around this is to pair the gemstone with something else. Here it is shown with tanzanite. If you look fast, you may even think the center stone is tanzanite, but it’s not, it’s amethyst. This would be much too expensive if it was all tanzanite. You can also find amethyst paired with purple sapphire in the same way at times. It fools the eye, making it look more expensive. Technically when people ask what it is, you can say tanzanite. Plus you get to wear your birthstone painlessly. Wearing jewelry shouldn’t hurt!
