I’m not scared anymore
27 February 2007One of my first memories of the Oscars is a star (I don’t remember who it is) saying something along the lines of “Let’s talk about why we are really here, if we wanted to know who won we would just read the paper. We want to see what people are wearing”. Oscar night is definitely the height of both fashion & fashion flops. I’ll admit that Oscar night always makes me feel a little self conscious as I sit there wolfing down Doritos in my PJ’s thinking how do they do it? How do they look like that? There is an amazing article on the Belisi Blog: How to Look Like an Oscar Starlet. It breaks down what you will need this season (a tan, platform shoes, a black mini-dress & much more). They break it down into bite size pieces that are affordable & more importantly, obtainable. Now it isn’t so daunting. Now I know exactly what about the celebrities is so fabulous & I know how to go about it. Whose star style for the Oscar’s would you want to emulate?
