Breaking up is easier with jewelry

I wasn’t having the best birthday in 2005. Granted, I typically have horrible birthdays. My relationship was falling apart, & I had a sneaking suspicion that I’d be broken up with on that day. I wasn’t feeling well, & I had been shopping all day & couldn’t find a present for myself. None of the clothes I tried on fit. Dejectedly I stopped by the jewelry rack & there was this ring. A 8×6 blue topaz set in sterling silver. It was half off & then I got another ring for free. I think the ring was around $20. It was the only ring there that met my requirements of not being a cz. It was even the only ring in that style, & it was the right size. This is also one of the best pictures of jewelry I’ve ever taken, thanks to the camera I won. It brightened up my birthday.
