It’s a mystery to me
7 March 2007
The orgins of this ring are a bit sketchy. I had been wanting a tanzanite ring for a very long time, but couldn’t afford anything of decent quality. I had also been wanting a right hand ring, but also couldn’t afford one, & I didn’t know what really said Sara. I was living in a town that I really didn’t fit in, & suffering from depression. So for Christmas of 2005 I bought myself this ring. I think it is about a carat of natural tanzanite, 10kt white gold, & diamonds. I really love the past, present future setting. This was the first ring I had worn in awhile, & I noticed that my skin was burning from a chronic illness, & I still can’t wear rings for more than a few seconds. I got this ring off of ebay, & a few weeks later I noticed that my natural tanzanite was being sold as lab-created. I wrote to the sellers & they told me that there was a mix up & some of the stones were lab created & some weren’t. If I went & got the ring appraised, & found out it wasn’t, I could send it back. I decided it wasn’t worth the price of an appraisal. Besides, it is still the prettiest ring I have ever seen. It’s very unique & something that most people will not see in their lifetime, like me. I still hope it is natural tanzanite though. If my posterity is reading this someday, were you really going to sell my jewelry anyways?
