Spring 2007: The Tiny Necklace

13 March 2007

Style: The tiny necklace.  I suspect that we will be seeing a lot of petite necklaces in this spring.  This is nice because it really helps show off a great tan without being overwhelming.  Plus, a lot of the fashions lately have been over the top, lots of ribbons, bows, built in weird necklace things.  That’s why I think we are seeing jewelry being kept to a minimum.

How Much You’ll Pay: You may already have a tiny pendant in your collection.  If not choose the metal you love & buy something, it can be a circle, a celtic knot or an abstract shape. Consider something really dainty like a charm or even a piece of children’s jewelry or a gold bead. So this necklace might be free if you already have it or pay up to $100 for something in yellow gold.

How Long will it Stick Around: We seem to alternate between chunky pieces of jewelry, & now the smaller dainty pieces.  This look will definitely go out at some point. If all else fails, it wasn’t a big investment, you can always use the chain for something.
