Lessons learned from America’s Next Top Model

16 March 2007

I was watching America’s Next Top Model, & I have noticed that there is something very similar in all of the judging throughout every season.  The word "fierce".  Apparently fierce means good.  If a model looks fierce she can stay.  If you look nice or sweet, then you’re out.  A model can never look too fierce.  No one ever gets told that they look mean or grumpy, just that they look like "high fashion".  Models never get told that people are scared of them, or will cross over to the other side of the road when they see them.  Whatever happened to being pretty & smiling?
