Jewelry Regrets
20 March 2007
I was getting my associates degree & wanted to get something nice. I didn’t have a lot of money & was lured to Dillards where they were having a sale on platinum plated jewelry. I walked around the mall for hours trying to decide whether or not I should buy this. However, it had real diamond chips in the earrings & bracelet & it looked so grown up. I liked the price & was lured by the idea of being able to buy two pieces instead of one. I once put the bracelet under the microscope & couldn’t even find the diamond chips. However, I keep the jewelry to commemorate the occasion & to remind myself that even if it’s a good deal, if it’s not me, it isn’t worth it. This is the only diamond/plated thing I own, it’s also the only set I own. It’s interesting to see how my tastes have changed.
