Extreme Makeover
3 April 2007I shop a lot & am pretty good about keeping up with the current trends. The one area I always seem to miss is my hair. I read this article about haircuts that can take off ten years. I try to change my hair every few years, because I know that eventually I will get stuck in a hair rut. It’s difficult because when I finally find a haircut that flatters my face shape, that works with my hair texture, & that I can maintain, of course I want to keep it. I am somewhat of a makeover veteran. I’m not easily impressed with all the makeover shows that I have watched. However, this lot of makeovers really surprised me. All of the women looked much younger, much happier, & much more approachable. I learned that you can change your hairstyle in simple ways by adding highlights or having a few bangs added. I think the most important thing is to be open to the idea of change. How do you not get stuck in a hair rut?
