Bravotv has done it again. I don’t know how they make the best reality shows, such as "Project Runway", & "Top Design", but they always pull through. I would much rather watch people trying to accomplish their goals, than eating rats & forming alliances. Last night was the premier of "Shear Genius". I promised myself I wouldn’t become addicted to it, & I didn’t think I would because hair is just hair to me.
It’s the perfect show formula though, the host is a "Charlie’s Angel" that was somehow talked into getting into the "Charlie’s Angels" stance using a hairdryer instead of a gun. There’s the pompous guy with no real talent. There’s a guy who takes hair dressing so seriously that he calls himself Dr. & dresses only in scrubs. Plus, with 12 hair dressers in the same room, of course there will be drama. Just when I gout out of the vicious cycle that was "Top Design" they pull me back in.
