One of the easiest way is to get quality genuine emerald is to know where to shop. It seems like a simple enough solution but this isn’t the case. Most stores don’t sell emeralds in quantity. What you see is what you get. Also most emeralds seem to be set in yellow gold. I had the same problem when I was looking for a ruby ring. There were many beautiful rings to choose from but they were all in yellow gold. This didn’t interest me at all because yellow gold is not flattering to my skintone.
A good way around this is to design your own piece of jewelry. This can be intimidating and expensive, but not if you know where to shop. For instance if you shop at Jewelry Television, otherwise known as ACNTV, you can get a quite large loose emerald. You then have the option of many different settings to choose from. You can either have these set by a jeweler, or there are even some snap castings that you can set yourself. This is of great way to get a unique piece of jewelry that you can afford. It makes it a lot easier to be a May baby.
