June=Pearls
25 May 2007When I think of the month of June, I think of pearls, & here is why:
1. Pearls are the birthstone for June. This is one of the most versatile birthstones around because pearls come in so many sizes & shapes. Lucky June babies.
2. June means lots & lots of weddings. Pearls are great for brides, bridesmaid gifts, or even mother of the brides. Your bridesmaids will probably never wear their dress or shoes again, but if you give them pearls they will always be your friend. I like the store National Pearl because they have a great selection, which is very affordable. They even have Tahitian Pearls at prices that most people can afford. At these prices you can give pearls to everyone in your wedding party.
3. A lot of jewelry looks too heavy to wear with summer clothes. Pearls always look light, but still classy.
Although I think of pearls especially in June, they look great any time. If pearls were in a yearbook they would be voted “Least likely to go out of style”. They are always a symbol of wealth & elegance. I think this is the reason that most women think they are unobtainable, which is an unfortunate idea. If you have a pair of good pearl earrings, it makes accessorizing so much easier. You can afford to buy them for yourself, or your bridal party, as long as you know where to shop.
