The shopping olympics
28 May 2007It’s Memorial Day, which is also akin to the shopping Olympics. There are so many great deals tempting us. I remember back in the day when I’d go shopping twice a year, once for school clothes in the fall, & before Christmas. Now with the Internet, I can shop all the time. I’m trying to resist this year, stay at home, be responsible, save gas money. Although I did find a great deal on dining room chairs for only $6 each, but of course they were sold out before I got there. So whatever your plans today, remember to enjoy your holiday, & to remember why we have the day off, it’s about something bigger than shopping. Be safe!
