A real fairytale
7 June 2007Ballet was really the first time I was interested in fashion. I went to see “The Nutcracker” one year, & was absolutely enthralled by the amazing costumes, & the style & grace. I kept my program & just spent hours & hours looking through it, dreaming of one day when I would be a great ballerina. These thoughts shaped who I was, & who I wanted to become. So I was surprised to hear that the Great Russian Nutcracker U.S. Tour is having Nutcracker Auditions. Applicants should be between from seven to a young teen. They must have one year of ballet experience & must be dressed in ballet attire. The audition tour goes to several states in the fall, so be sure & ask your dance instructor about it. It really would be a fairytale come true. Unfortunately, I’m a little old to be auditioning, but just looking at the store brought some magic back into my life. I would love to see The Nutcracker again. I remember that feeling of complete & utter awe that I think everyone who sees the nutcracker experiences.
