I definitely agree with you about wanting to feel special and not like they're wearing an $80 dress. However, I've grown up in a small town and I've seen a lot of girls buy their dresses from the Thrifty Nickel or even rent their dress because they couldn't afford a dress any other way. I know there are lots of places where you can get inexpensive wedding dresses, but unfortunately nowhere near here. But there is a Target, and I do think there definitely is a market for those dresses. If I had a choice between buying an $80 gown new and getting to keep it, or renting a $1000+ dress, I'd definitely go with the new one.

OH Sarkastic, I'm filling out the Target application for you right now. My sister is getting married in September, and we are in the throes of dress-stravaganza. I have better things to do with $310. Like go shoe shopping.
