Bling for Father’s day
9 June 2007I always see cuff links in the store & wish I could buy them. It’s one of the few pieces of jewelry for boys. Yet another reason why it’s better to be a woman. However, I don’t know any guys that still wear French cuff shirts. So for Father’s Day, the standard is to buy ties & cuff links, but that means getting the same gift every other year. I’ve been thinking about other ways that the average guy can include more bling in his life.
1. A nice keychain, I’ve seen sterling silver, or stainless steel keychains.
2. A watch. These are going out of style a little bit because of the use of cell phones to keep track of time. However, it looks a lot more professional to keep checking your watch, than to keep opening your cell phone.
3. Rings. Usually men only own a wedding band, but that doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t want their own signature ring.
So there is definitely some tasteful bling out there for men, it’s just a matter of finding it.
