Most of us have been dreaming about our wedding dress since we were little, but when we actually get the dress, accessorizing it can be a little overwhelming. Here are just a few tips to keep in mind.
- Keep it simple. If your dress is heavily embroidered, go for a simple piece. If your dress is simple, you can have more extravagant jewelry. Otherwise, to quote "My Big Fat Greek Wedding’ you might end up looking like a snowbeast.
- Choose classic jewelry. This is the jewelry that you will pass on to your daughters someday & say that you wore it on your wedding day. Make sure it’s something of good quality in a style that will stand the test of time.
- Show your personality. If you love pearls or diamonds, great. If you want to bring a little color into your wedding ensemble, you could use an aquamarine as your something blue.
