Back in the day
19 June 2007A year ago yesterday, I started this blog. I was excited to finally be able to share my opinions with people. I have so many of them that everyone in my real life had already tuned me out. It was funny because in middle school, I had wanted to become a writer. As I grew up I decided to major in something more practical & "employable". With blogging, I ended up becoming a writer anyways. I’m one of the few people that I know that gets to do something they really love. Hopefully this will last for many years to come, if not, I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity that I’ve been given.
I started a year & a day ago, madly wild about jewelry. That still hasn’t changed. When writing this blog, I spend countless hours staring at a picture & thinking "ohh sparkly". Enough with the sentimentality. What does a princess do when celebrating a big anniversary? She buys herself a new ring of course!
