The most magical place on earth
29 June 2007There is a magical store called Susies Deals that has all new clothes for $5 or less. This means that I can walk into the store & know that I can buy anything I want, & there’s not a lot of stores that I can do that with. It’s heaven on Earth. I once drove five hours out of my way to get to one of these stores. I still ended up saving money because I was able to buy Christmas presents for the whole family.
Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of these stores around. They seem to be mostly congregated in Arizona. I used to stop in at them on the way to visit my grandmother. Now, when it’s snowing in Utah in September, my mom & I look at each & say, it’s time to head to AZ.
It’s a pretty long drive so our vacation is a lot more fun if we fly. However, I’m a bargain hunter so of course I have to have the absolute best deal on Phoenix Hotels & airlines. I like that sidestep.com searches over 200 travel sites. I’m the same way when I go shopping in stores. Even if I see something that I like at the first store, I have to go to all the other stores to make sure I got the best item. Sidestep saves me a lot of time & trouble. I’ll keep them in mind when it starts snowing again & it’s time to head to Phoenix.
