Not another one!
11 July 2007Well, June is over, so the odds are that you have a new bridesmaid’s dress sitting in your closet that you will most likely never wear again. You might be thinking, not another one! These dresses are too pretty, expensive, or sentimental to throw away, but they are too ugly or wedding specific, or just plain bridesmaid-y to wear again.
I was looking over at Martha Stewart’s site, & there seems to be several patterns to remake these dresses into skirts, or cute flapper dresses. I love this idea because it is cost effective, & you are taking something that might have been ugly & using it again in a more beautiful form.
Plus, bridesmaid dresses usually have pretty good quality material. Besides the fact that it’s just sweet revenge to cut up a dress that you spent way too much money on that you didn’t even get to pick out.
