Pure & Complete Awe
22 July 2007As a princess wannabe I have my inspirations. These are people that I think about when I want to do something decidedly unprincess like such as flip someone off, (it’s not my fault that it’s fun).
Ironically, most of my inspirations aren’t princesses. I want to be able to combine someone’s charity with someone else’s beauty & another person’s sense of humor. Lately, I’ve gotten into painting pop art, because I think it’s a great place to start. I was getting frustrated trying to be Monet. The obvious subject for pop art was Audrey Hepburn. Her face is so symmetrical, & she had such a unique style. Even more than that, she always seemed to radiate something & I still haven’t been able to figure out exactly what that is. I’m just looking over my paintings trying to figure it out. Who is your princess inspiration?
