Free Blue Topaz Ring
30 July 2007
Update: This contest is now closed, check back on Monday for a new contest!
Every Monday I give away a piece of jewelry, although the contest is a little different this week than it was last week so be sure & read the rules (the changes are in bold).
I’m doing this to stop that pesky feeling of invisibility that seems to be permeating so many women’s lives. To enter all you have to do is comment on this post with a reason why humanity doesn’t suck, or a random act of kindness. You can also leave a trackback if you would like to link to the contest on your own blog, or you can just leave a link in the comments to your post.
This week’s Random Act of Bling is:
- Sizeable 7
- Sterling Silver Ring
- Genuine Blue & White Topaz totaling 1.75 tcw
- 3 Stone, past, present, future design.
The ring definitely has a lot of presence & sparkle to it. I chose this ring because hopefully it will catch the wearer’s eye on a disappointing day & they can remember that they are special & that good things do happen. Good Luck & I can’t wait to read the entries!
The Rules:
1. You must be over 18 or have your parent’s permission to give me your address. In turn, I pinky swear to not sale or spam your address.
2. Winner should live in the lower 48 states. I will pay all shipping costs.
3. One entry per person per week.
4. If you have previously won a Random Act of Bling, you can enter again, but the jewelry must be given away to a random person that you don’t know.
5. The jewelry is not to be sold. It is to remind you that you are special. Ideally, the jewelry would be given away by you to someone who looks like they need some cheering up, or needs to be seen.
6. Leave a comment, trackback, or link to a blog post. This must discuss a reason why humanity doesn’t suck, or a RAK.
7. The winner will be drawn at 6pm Mountain Time on Friday, using a random number generator.
8. I reserve the right to delete any comments that are inappropriate or edit the rules as needs be in order to keep the contest running as smoothly as possible.

My elderly neighbor passed away in April. We still mow the yard and feed the dog for her elderly siblings.

I work as an optech. most of the time I really love my job when I can see a pair of glasses make all the diffrence in the world for a small child’s world, and to be able to see more clearly,or maybe not know what they really look like. We live in a small comunity where there just isn’t alot of money for the best.We see a lot of people on state aide–some times, these people can’t get a pair but once every 4 yrs. That just doesn’t cut it when your eyes go from bad to worse, and theres no extra money for the frames. When I’ve seen this happen more than once to a couple of people who just can’t make it to 4 yrs,I’ve kicked in my spiffs to cover the expense. I don’t say anything to them about it,I’ll just give them a call and let them know that the new glasses have arrived, and see that they can come in to be fitted to them. It feels so good to see the wonders in the little eyes, and the smiles on their faces.
