It was the nicest thing he could've done and it's deeply appreciated. I'll be sure to pay it forward. I was severely dehydrated and they struggled to get my picc line in. Both were very upset about the pain and upset that they were having to put me through with 4 attempts. They stayed with me through the trip to radiology to get it dropped where it belonged. They even returned a couple times through the next few days to check my bruising, chat and see how I was holding up. I think that was two great women showing tremendous compassion when I needed it most. While I was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital, the IV team went above and beyond to care for me. The town has been wonderful. They started collecting items immediately for these families. I am glad to live in a town that will support you and help build you up when you are at lowest.
