Update: This contest is now closed check back next week for a new Random Act of Bling
I give away jewelry every week randomly because life is just hard. The winner can either keep the jewelry, or give it away. Hopefully when life gets hard they will be able to look at this ring & remember that they are special. To enter just read the rules & then leave a comment/trackback/ or link to a blog post with a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.
The prize this week is a round solitaire genuine smoky quartz ring set in sterling silver. I think the stone size is 6mm & the ring is a size 7 but I’m not positive about that.
The rules:
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states. I will pay shipping costs & I won’t sell or keep your address. Likewise, please don’t sell this jewelry.
One entry per person per week. If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can enter again. However, if you win again please give the jewelry away at random.
Winner will be drawn by a random number generator at 6pm Mountain Time on Friday.
Stumbles, diggs & links back to this post are appreciated but not required.
The comment/link/trackback should discuss a random act of kindness or who you will give this piece of jewelry away to & why.

I can’t link to a blog, etc…so I hope this comment entry will suffice.
If I were to win this smoky quartz ring, I would gift it to me dear friend who is struggling to quit smoking cigarettes. I would include a note that says something like ” let the only smoky be this gorgeous quartz…in celebration of becoming a smoke – free woman!”

Since my dh is out of work and has been out of work, and it seems like there isn’t a job out there…I would save this for a Christmas gift for one of my sisters.

I’d love to give this to my sister. The other day she was wanting a ring of mine, but it did’nt fit her. She would absolutely love this.

I live by the philosophy of never taking more than I can give, which has served me well over time. Those who don’t allow others the simple joy of giving (to them) are those who don’t think they are worth it.

The cashier at our local grocery store was very kind, pleasant and patient to the elderly lady in front of me in the check out lane. It made me feel good inside to see such kindness. Although I complimented the cashier on her actions, a ring would be even nicer.

I would love to give this ring to my daughter. I remember growing up how special it was getting a jewlery piece from time to time from my parents and it made me feel like a princess.
