The only bad part about Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style

15 October 2007

That had to be the longest blog post title ever. It’s not my fault that the show’s name is 25 characters long. Remember when TV show titles were just simple like “FRIENDS”? I love Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style, I love Tim. My only complaint is Veronica Webb’s outfits. She always looks like she’s on an 80’s version of Star Trek, or that she’s a superhero of some sort.

She advocated leggings for heaven’s sakes. Tim was right to burst out laughing about that. Then she looked like she was going to zap him with her laser eyes because of her vendetta to rid the world of “anti-leggings” people. For someone who is supposed to be a fashion icon, she sure wears a lot of shoulder pads. I would say that it was an 80’s style but I didn’t dress like that in the 80’s. It’s not even outdated, it’s just very much the wardrobe that a comic book hero comes to life would wear. Has anyone else noticed this?
