Alternatives to pierced ears
22 October 2007I was ecstatic when I turned 12 & could finally get my ears pierced. It opened up a whole new world of jewelry to me. However, I know some women who never got their ears pierced. There just doesn’t seem to be a huge selection of clip on earrings out there. That might be because they are so uncomfortable.
I remember before I got my ears pierced I’d always wear clip on earrings & try to say that I got my ears pierced. My friends never believed me because I never chose clip on studs because the clip would show. I didn’t know that I would’ve have had my ears pierced with a stud that I would have had to wear for several weeks. I remember my mom bought me magnet earrings that were really comfortable. I don’t know if they still make these, but it’s a great alternative to pierced ears.
