It’s nothing that Matt Damon can’t fix

I’ve been having a rough few days so I decided to do what any princess would do. Look at pictures of Matt Damon. It’s just a great escape from my everyday life, even though I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that he is married. I even accept the fact that he isn’t married to me. However, he just seems to be such a nice, down to earth person & a great actor. Reading about him always makes me smile. Fine, I have a celebrity crush, I’ll admit it. It’s not my fault he’s so pretty.

I hopped on over to spock.com which is a great way to people search. Spock works with anyone from celebrities, politicians to even your friends & neighbors. They have links where you can find this person on the web so it really simplifies the process. Spock combines information with community. If you claim your name you can shape what info people will find about you. You can even search by tags like hair color or interests.

All I had to do was type in Matt Damon & I immediately had a wealth of information at my fingers. I learned that his middle name is Paige & that his birthday was on October 8th. Happy Birthday Matt. Just by looking through the tags I learned a lot, like that he’s a college dropout. (It’s ok Matt, I forgive you because you’re so cute). There’s also a Related People area. Here I found out that Claire Danes, Minnie Driver & Winona Ryder are all ex girlfriends of Matt Damon. They even have links to news articles about that person. It’s a very organized way to find people, much easier than other search engines I have used. Who do you want to find out more about? Is it a celebrity or an old high school friend?

    I was watching a band a few years ago and kept looking at the lead singer, thinking, “he looks just like… someone…” I finally figured out he was a dead ringer for Matt Damon (no idea why it took me a half hour of staring fixedly at him to come to this conclusion).

    He is Gabe Dixon of the Gabe Dixon Band. They are stunningly talented and currently on tour.
