Free Citrine Ring

I love the idea behind “The Little Princess” where it basically says, “all girls are princesses, don’t you remember that?” Unfortunately, that’s a difficult sentiment to hold onto at times. There are hundreds of things that can take this feeling away from us, weight, not having a boyfriend, having the wrong boyfriend, google page rank or working as a waitress. I started a weekly contest called Random acts of Bling because I think that all girls are princesses & very few of us remember this. The winner can either keep the jewelry or give it away to someone at random. To enter, just read the rules & then leave a comment with a random act of kindness, or who you would give this ring to & why,. You can also leave a trackback or link to a post on your blog.

The prize this week is a Citrine & Sterling Sterling Cluster ring in size 7.

The rules:

One entry per person per week.

Contestants should be over 18 & live in the Lower 48 States because I’ll be paying shipping.

If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again but you must give the jewelry away at random.

I won’t sell your mailing address so please don’t sell the jewelry. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm Mountain Time on Friday.

Comment must be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why. Remember that you’re a princess!

Hello, I would most likely give the ring to my great-niece. She has weight problems at her younger age and problems at school because of it. She would appreciate the ring and so would I. Thanks, Cindi

Hmmm…I love the idea of paying for the car behind you in the drive-thru line. I’m going to do it the next time I’m at the Starbucks drive-thru! :)
I love the sentiment behind your giveaway.

I love that quote. It’s so beautiful. Please enter me in the drawing.

I love your website because it reminds me that I’m self-centered a lot of the time and need to put the focus on to others more often. I am a new professor this year and therefore come in contact with a lot of students who have all different views of themselves. I pledge to compliment (and really mean them) five students per day for the next week!

I’d love to give this ring to my oldest princess. She has some major problems with some boys threatening her at school & it has be a rough week this past week. The threats have been going on for over 2 years, but this past week was an emotional one. She’d enjoy the ring! I love Citrine btw, one of my favorite stones. As for Random acts of kindness, money has been tight for us, but I always try to help out someone like get the door for a mom or elderly person, etc. Your blog is FAB!

I am just mailing a Christmas CD to a friend I haven’t seen in many many years. She lives in Germany, so it will take a long time to get to her, but I think she’ll enjoy it. It should be a nice surprise to her when she receives it.

If I won this ring I would give it to my little cousin. She has had such a hard life including being born addicted to drugs, being held back in school because of a mean foster mother, and growing up with a mother who was in prison. Despite these things, she is still the sweetest girl, and very smart, and at the ripe old age of 15 has already started applying to colleges. We grew up very close (forget the 7 year age difference) and I would love to give her this ring just to let her know that no matter what, there is always someone on her side, and that good things do happen to good people. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to tell the world about my little cousin. I hope I win.

I would like to give this ring to my mother-in-law. She recently helped us through a very rough patch, financially and otherwise. She’s so generous, not just with money but with herself and her time, withholding judgment, and I would love to give back to her somehow. Thanks for the opportunity.

I would love to win this to give to my oldest daughter who is 19. She babysits for me if I need to run a quick errand. She doesn’t ask for pay to do it. I try to treat her to little things now and then but with a tight budget, that doesn’t happen often. She is a true gift as she took care of her 6 brothers and sisters as well as the house when I was in the hospital for a week back in November of 2006 with my heart. I was thought to have had a light heart attack. I went to the ER and sent home but next morning I was in A-Fib and rushed by ambulance to another hospital.

I would love to win this for my sister, she could use a little bling in her life right now

I would like this ring for myself. I miss the love, support and encouragement that I received from my beloved husband who died. He made me feel loved and special. I miss him so much. I try to do something kind and unexpected for someone every day, because I know how it feels to be sad. It makes me feel better to be kind to others.
