Free tanzanite 3 stone ring

26 November 2007

tanzanitethreering.jpgThis contest is now closed, check back on Monday for a new Random act of Bling

“Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.” ~ Barbara De Angelis

I’m always amazed to see on the news on “Black Friday” that patrons have gotten into fights at Walmart. I had a similar experience one year. I was walking out of the bathroom of a store, it was very busy & there was a lady in front of me & a lady behind me. The first lady had a crying kid with her, the second lady commented that the kid was being too loud & a fight ensued with me literally caught in the middle. I couldn’t help but think how awful it would be to always walk around with that kind of anger. If someone had just inquired if the kid was ok, they probably could’ve made a new friend or at least not have ruined several people’s day.

Every week I give a piece of jewelry I call a Random Act of Bling to try & remind people that they are special. To enter the contest just leave a comment/trackback/ or link to a blog post that contains a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

The prize this week is a .50 carat genuine tanzanite ring set in sterling silver. It’s a size 7 ring, past present, future style. It’s would make a great band ring.

The rules:

One entry per week. If you’ve already won, you can win again but you must give the subsequent jewelry away at random. Also please don’t sell the jewelry.

Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell your address, pinky swear.

Winner is drawn using a random number generator.

Comment should contain who you would give this jewelry to & why or a random act of kindness.

I would give the ring to my mother. She was my past. I want her to be more involved in my present (she is involved as much as she can be, being over 1000 miles away) and I look forward to our future together.

I would love to give this ring to grandmother. My grandfather just passed this year and it’s been very hard on her. They had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary a week before he passed. I think giving her this ring would remind her that I love her and I’m always thinking about her. Past, Present, and Future has such meaning. It could represent my relationship with my grandmother as well as her relationship with my grandpa. Thanks for the giveaway.

I would send the ring to my cousin. She has been a teacher for over 40 years. She is a wonderful person and helped a lot of children. She certainly deserves the ring.

I’d have to give this one to my far away best friend. Even though we aren’t neighbors, we always have been & always will be sisters.
