Finally, here is a picture of these week’s prize. I told you that the garnet earrings were pretty. To enter the weekly contest you just have to read the rules & leave a comment with who you would give this piece of jewelry to, or if you’re keeping it for yourself, a random act of kindness. A stranger walked up to me in the Walmart parking lot and slipped a $20 bill into my hand and said, “Merry Christmas, The LORD has been very good to me this year and I wanted to bless someone.” That was much needed at the time!!

I’d like to walk up to a stranger like this and hand them this pair of earrings.

I don’t know if this is an urban legend or not. I’ve heard it attributed to several people, so I don’t know if it’s a myth or if a lot of college professors are doing this. The story goes that a class fervently studies for their final college exam. There is only one question on the test “What is the name of the cleaning lady?”.

I’ve been a waitress before, it seemed like no one cared who I was. They didn’t stop to consider I was a human, or not a superhero before they made impossible demands or complaints. During these times, I’d look at a piece of jewelry & remember that I was more than a waitress. So every week I try to pass on this feeling to others by giving away a piece of jewelry. The winner can either keep the jewelry, or pass it on to someone who’s having a bad day or feels unappreciated. The prize this week are sterling silver genuine garnet stud earrings weighing .95 total carat weight. The picture didn’t seem to be working, I’ll work on it after the holidays, but these are pretty I promise.
