Garnet Band Ring Giveaway

14 January 2008

garnetband.jpgUpdate: this contest is now closed, check back on Monday for a new contest.

I love jewelry. Unfortunately, I can’t wear/own all of it. I’ve certainly tried. I wanted to pass along the way that jewelry makes me feel by randomly giving away pieces. I think that most women don’t take time for themselves. Hopefully, this jewelry will remind people that they are special. The winner can either keep the jewelry, or give it away. Just read the rules & leave a comment/trackback/link as specified in the rules.

This week’s prize is a size seven sterling & garnet ring. It’s a band style, with oval garnets, January’s birthstone. It looks great stacked, or by itself.

One entry per person per week.

Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.

Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.

Comments should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.

The ring is beautiful! I have a sweet story this week to share. I have been volunterring at a cat shelter since September and this past weekend made my first adoption (two cats, actually) to a lovely couple. I spent about three hours with them introducing them to all of the cats and finding two that really fit their personalities. I love that they adopted two grown cats (as they are the hardest to place!). Animal adoption is a win-win situation, for the new owners and the adopted animals.
I would love to give this ring to someone who is truly deserving, perhaps the director of the animal shelter.

I would give this awesome ring to my daughter, we are going to Italy next month, I have seen her in over a 1 1/2, she is serving in the military, she would be so grateful, and I would feel grateful giving it to her!!

I have entered your random act of bling giveaway for weeks now…I think I would still chose to give this to my sister. She was recently diagnosed with epilipsy, so she is on all these meds and can’t drive blah blah blah. The point is she needs a pick me up! This would surprise her and show her I love her.

I would give the ring to barista at my local coffee shop. I did that job once and I know how demanding it is. She always has a smile and remembers people by name. I would love to do something special for her
