Beyond the Basics

A few days ago I decided to donate all of the clothes that I don’t actually wear to charity. I was shocked when I had two huge piles of clothing to donate on my floor. I probably gave away 60% of everything I own. Looking through my closet I noticed that the clothes I actually wear have something in common: they are very simple & fit well. However, I don’t want to look plain, or out of date. So I am always on the hunt for unique jewelry.
The second that I visited Artworks Jewelry I knew I was in love. This new online boutique specializes in handcrafted jewelry. I could tell the site was modern & innovative just by looking at their web design. I love the colors they used. I was browsing through their selection & found new materials that even I, the Queen of Bling, didn’t know were being used in jewelry such as concrete & cork. I also love the fact that you can shop by designer, I haven’t seen that at other sites. I fell in love with a Concrete Donut Bracelet by Frances Smersh.
Many of the artists are inspired by the world around them which means there are a lot of shapes & textures that will add interest to any outfit. They even have a wonderful selection of handmade purses. Plus, Artworks Jewelry has a flat rate shipping which can save you a lot of money if you buy multiple pieces. So even though I have a basic wardrobe, it is unique & trendy because of accessories.

Those are nice! Is the bottom one a bracelet or a necklace?

It’s a bracelet but a matching necklace would be awesome
