Free Lapis Pendant

3 March 2008

This contest is now closed. Check back on Monday for a new contest. Ilapispendant.jpg recently read that if you smile for an entire minute, it’s impossible to be sad. I tried this & I couldn’t smile for a minute, my face started hurting. It just goes to show that little things mean a lot, which is why I give away jewelry at random every week. It’s a little thing that will hopefully remind whoever receives it that they are special. The winner can either keep the jewelry, or give it away. To enter the contest read the rules then leave a comment or trackback with a random act of kindness, or who you would give this to & why. The prize this week is a new Natural Lapis Lazuli .925 sterling pendant. This was handcrafted & polished by professional master artisans & is one of a kind. It is 1 3/8″ & comes with a 16 inch box chain.

THE RULES:

One entry per person per week.

Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.

Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address. If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.

If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.

Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

Hello! My dad and I have breakfast twice a week at this family-owned restaurant. The owners are from
Turkey. Many of their workers are from Albania, Slovakia and similar countries. Dad and I many times get a waitress we really like names Lomka. She is new to this country and has two young sons. I would love to surprise her with this beautiful necklace. Thanks,Cindi

That pendant is absolutely gorgeous! I would love to give this to my daughter. She tuns 19 on the 16th and she loves pendants. Plus she is a silver girl, she does not care for gold. Crazy kid! :)

I love your blog. I just found it yesterday on accident and I’ve told my oldest daughter about it. She and I love the idea of this.

My RAoK that I have seen, is for the woman who babysit’s my two youngest kids. She is my ex-boyfriends mother (none of the kids are his), and she goes above and beyond child care. She feeds them warm meals, takes them on walks to the park, buys them clothes and food and she does this all for a fraction of the cost it would cost me elsewhere!

She has a heart of gold!

Wonderful contest, thank you for doing this!

Wow is that a beautiful necklace! I received the heart pin from two weeks ago and sent it off to my mom this morning. Her first grandchild is due very soon and I hope that this pen will remind her how much she is loved.

I think this necklace is beautiful… so I might have to keep it for me! :) Or I could easily give it to the woman at the grocery store who is always so friendly and kind (not something you find in many groceries these days).

What a beautiful necklace! My RAoK is that I try at least once a week to send a note card to someone that is sick or needs encouragement. It’s amazing what one little card in the mail telling someone that you thought about them and are praying for them will do.

    Thanks for the giveaway!!!

I would wear myself, until the first person who complimented on how lovely it was, well, that person would become it’s owner.
