Update:  This contest is now closed check back on Monday for a new contest.

I have a bright yellow sweatshirt that says “I am grumpy”. That’s the way my morning was going until I remembered that it’s Monday time to start a new Random Acts of Bling. Just reading all of the comments every week about the better part of humanity makes me feel brighter. The winner can either keep the jewelry or give it away. To enter the contest just read the rules & then leave a comment with a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

The prize this week is a sterling silver vintage style bracelet. It’s only 6 & 1/4″, but you could get a bracelet extender for it.

The Rules:

One entry per person per week.

Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.

Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address. If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.

If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.

Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

Hello, I still have Lumka’s beautiful necklace. We like the other waitresses very much, also. I didn’t want to give one a gift and not the others. I am going to stay in the game and hopefully will win a few more goodies in time. I am never in too much of a hurry. Life is too short for that. They all make my 90 year old dad feel special. Please enter me in the drawing for the beautiful silver vintage looking bracelet. Hope your week is a great one…..Cindi

This looks gorgeous! I love vintage pieces. This piece would be for all 3 of us as we share all our jewelry. The 3 of us being me & my 2 girls.

Oh how beautiful! Being mother’s day next week I would give this to a new mom that just had a baby last week. She is having a hard time with it and it would be a reminder of how great it is to be a mother gift!

If you choose me, would you send it to Stephanie above? I can only imagine how difficult post-partum can be and I would love for her to pass it along to a friend in need.

This week I donated some “Soft Paws” to our animal shelter’s raffle. (these are AWESOME by the way! http://www.softpaws.com for more info on a declawing alternative) If my name gets chosen, I would like it to go to Betsy for her Mom. :-)

It would be nice to just surprise someone with a gift like this. People have always done nice things for me, so I’d like to do something nice for someone by giving them this beautiful bracelet. I don’t know who yet, but I’d save it for the right time. Maybe a waitress at a restaurant.

Because it’s small, it would be nice to find an underprivileged little girl

I’d like to give this one to my little niece. She’s making her first communion this month and would love something sparkly to make her feel special.

“Never take more than you can give”,,,something my Mom often reminded me of when I was growing up.
I would give this bracelet to the lady at the gas station who always looks so sad-who always seems so down on herself. Most people use sarcasm for effect, but I truly believe hers is in part, the reality of her life. It would be awkward for her to accept, however, for at least a moment, it would bring her spirits up.

This would be my niece’s first piece of ‘grown up’ jewelry - as in, not pink plastic.

I have a cousin who over the years has helped me with every problem that has come my way. Moving, pregnancy, furniture, clothes, money whatever problem arise she is there for me like a superhero, the only problem for me is that I never been able to give her something of beauty or to define how apprecative I am for all she has done for me and my children, so I think this beautiful bracelet would begin to show her my grattiude.

I would give this to someone’s mother since Mother’s Day is coming up. I lost my mother back in January of this year. Since I can no longer give her something special, I can at least make someone else’s mother feels special
