Free Pearl & Sterling Flower Earrings

Update: This contest is now closed. The random number generator chose Sarah to win. A new contest will start on Monday.

I’ve often heard a random act of kindness likened to a pebble. The pebble may be small, but when you throw it in water, it creates ripples, & then the ripple creates another ripple & that ripple creates another one. Every week I try & throw a pebble in so to speak by giving away a free piece of jewelry at random that will hopefully make someone feel special. The winner can either keep the jewelry or give it away. To enter the contest, just read the rules & leave a comment/trackback/link to a blog post with a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

The prize this week are sterling silver post earrings with a white freshwater pearl & flower detail. Pearls are the birthstone for June.

The Rules:

One entry per person per week.

Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.

Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address. If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.

If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.

Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

I do believe in random acts of kindness. Maybe it’s cookies to a neighbor or helping someone who dropped their bag, but it’s what makes the world go around.

I would give them to my daughter because she’s been working so hard in college and has been accepted into some wonderful research programs and opportunities for the summer. I’d love to give her a little congratulatory treat!

I stumbled upon your blog, and this is such a thoughtful thing for you to do. Reading about this random act of kindness is inspiring. It reminds me of the idea of “pay it forward” which I attempt to act upon in my life. Anyways, I would give these earrings to my younger sister. For the past year she has had numerous health problems, and the doctors still cannot diagnose her. She just had to go in for blood work again, and the whole process scares her. I would love to give these pearls to her as a symbol of hope and strength in the midsts of trials.
