I only remember two things about the Sally Jesse Raphael show. Well, I remember three things if you count the fact that I know the name of her show. I also remember her red glasses. I recall once when she was having a best of clips show. It showed this woman going absolutely crazy over something & then had a quiz asking “Why is this woman so happy? Did she just find out that she won a millions dollars? That she was given a new house? That she received a gold watch?”
Of course I thought that it was the house or the money because of how huge her reaction was. It turns out that it was the gold watch. I can’t give people houses or money. However, every week I give away a piece of jewelry at random to try & have a positive effect on someone’s life. The winner can either keep the jewelry or give it away. To enter the contest just read the rules & then leave a comment with who you would give the jewelry to & why or a random act of kindness.
The prize this week is a pair of sterling silver dangle earrings that will match any outfit.
The Rules:
One entry per person per week.
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address. If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.

What pretty earrings! I think I would give them to my boss (the same one I spoke about last week)… again in an anonymous way (don’t want her to think I’m catering for favoritism) because I think they would really brighten her day.

What a beautiful pair of earrings. I would love to give them to my Mom just because! She is retired and lives at the beach in Galveston, TX. She is finally living the life of her dreams. The only downside is all the hurricane activity makes her nervous. I am hoping she will get very fortunate and not have to evacuate or sustain any damage to her newly built house. She has endured a lot of stress lately. She is the absolute best Mom!

Very nice. I would give them to my aunt. She has had a busy life having to take care of her elderly mother, my grandmother pretty much by herself, her sister is too ill to help very much, of course us grandchildren help as much as possible, mainly me, in the process she has helped me plan my wedding and helped with details. She has been a rock.

I would give these to my daughter because she just had shoulder surgery. And maybe if I play my cards right I’ll get to borrow them.

I would totally keep the earrings for myself because I am selfish that way. Earrings are my absolute favorite piece of jewelry – especially dangling ones! I don’t feel like I am completly dressed if I don’t have on my dangly earrings.

Most everyone I know has everything they would ever want and need. So, I would give them to the local Single Mom’s Org…they recently gave single moms school clothes for their kids. How nice it would be for the moms to be thought of…I am sure they would find a way to pick out a random but special mom who could proudly wear them

I would give the earrings to my friend Cathy who was there for me during my moms death. When my moms breathing got so bad, and me nor my sisters could stay in the room with her, our angel Cathy took over and sit back in the room with my mom and sang songs to her. I owe her so much, and she loves earrings. Thanks for the give away.

These earrings are amazing! I would love to give them to my sister. She has had a rough summer. Her oldest son, who is 10, had West Nile Virus and a broken back all at the same time, and she spend two months taking care of this poor boy who was in so much pain. She has been exhausted and deserves something pretty.
