Update: The random number generator chose Stephanie to win the earrings. A new contest will start on Monday.
With thanksgiving coming up, it’s easy to be stressed out. I don’t even think we’ll be able to have cranberry sauce straight out of the can this year. I don’t even know how to make cranberry sauce if it doesn’t involve opening a can. It’s easy to get caught up in the little details & forget that it’s a day to be thankful.
Every week I give away a piece of jewelry at random that will hopefully inspire someone to make their life or someone else’s a little better. The winner can either keep the jewelry or pass it on. To enter the contest first read the rules then leave a comment with a random act of kindness or who you would give this to & why.
The prize this week are a pair of small genuine citrine & amethyst earrings set in sterling silver. Citrine is the birthstone for November.
The Rules:
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.
If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.
Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize. If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.
Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

Beautiful… I would send these to my mom who is struggling with my dad’s job loss (and so far unsuccessful search for new employment).

I’d give this pair of earrings to my mum because she recently started radiation after losing her mother to cancer 2 months ago. Amethyst is her birthstone, so I know she’d adore them.
Thank you for the chance at a RAOK!

I would give the earrings to my friend who terribly misses her home state, but can’t return at this time because of financial reasons. Homesickness is a very lonely place to be emotionally…

I’d give this to my sister, because she’s an awesome person and deserves a bit of pampering

These are lovely and I would give them to my mother who is a widow and very lonely. They would bring some happiness into her life.
