The random number generator chose Sandra to win with her comment:
I want to give this to my daughter. I’ve been ill a lot over the past years, with various surgeries and some life-threatening issues. Through all this she takes care of me, even though she doesn’t get a chance to live of have fun for herself. She has been such a blessing that I thank God for this amazing daughter.
I really hope that your daughter enjoys this pendant, it sounds like she really deserves it. Thanks to everyone who left comments, they really lifted my spirits & probably did the same for others. A new contest will start on Monday.

Since I try to dress modestly, winter is usually the easiest season for me. I don’t have to wear all of the layers of t-shirts just to get a high neckline like I do in the summer. I used to have a ton of winter clothes & not very many summer clothes. Since I live in Utah around this time of year I get sick of wearing the same hoodies all the time & seriously start considering spending the rest of the season in a las vegas hotel. A shopping trip seemed in order.
Did I say that shopping in the winter was easy? By easy, I meant next to impossible. Sure, everything looks cute but it’s either overpriced or impractical. All of the sweaters have short sleeves. They are obviously designed by people who have never seen snow. Cute coats abound, but they are out of my price range. Boots go anywhere from $50-$300 dollars. Those aren’t even leather boots. I always just thought they were tall shoes, so at most they should be twice as much. I guess I will just have to make do with what I have or wait until it’s warmer & things are on clearance.

Like many young girls I used to watch the Miss America pageant. Of course, my favorite part was when they put that huge crown on the winner. It always looked like it was going to fall off or give her neck strain. I haven’t watched the contest in a few years simply because it seems to always switch channels. Plus, I’d rather watch reality tv where I really get to know the contestants because I’m nosy.
However, I just can’t make myself watch TLC’s “Count Down to the Crown “which shows the true sides of contestants. Sure, everyone should look & feel as good as they can & take Solo Slim if they feel that is right for them. I get tired of seeing all these princess like characters be catty, fake & mean. Whatever happened to Miss Congeniality & why doesn’t she ever win?
