Garnet Ring Contest

Update: This contest is now closed, but a new one will start on Monday.
Since it’s a recession, I know that a lot of people are cutting back. I try to give away jewelry at random to make someone feel special because that’s someone we forget about as adults. I still have a stash of jewelry so I’ll keep this going as long as I can because I think it’s needed more than ever. The winner can keep the jewelry or give it away. To enter the contest just read the rules & then leave a comment with who you would give this to & why or a random act of kindness. The prize this week is a unisex sterling & genuine garnet band ring in a size ten. The front of the ring is slanted, like a three sided hexagon. Yes, my descriptive skills are amazing this morning.
The Rules:
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.
If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.
Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.
If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.
Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

The ultimate act of kindness today was my 2 year old sitting down next to his year old sister & sharing his lollipop & juice b/c she was crying. He spent 10 minutes saying ssshhhh… until she was happy again.

My last act of kindness was yesterday, Iwas in walgreens and a man and a woman with a little kid asking for money for food. My husband and I, asked them the situation and then we bring them food to the motel they were staying. They were really happy.

Unusual piece - love the angles.
My random acts of kindness are frequent and anonymous. I do them to bring a smile to someone else’s face. That in turn, absolutely puts a smile on my and warmth in my heart. I absolutely do unto others as I want done for myself.
Thanks!

I would give this to my sisterinlaw who was such a great help to me in my time of need. My husband needs a heart transplant, injured in the line of duty saving children from a house fire, and my wonderful sisterinlaw drove me many times to be by his side when we thought he would die any minute. I will need her again soon so a thank you gift is definitely in order.

I would give it to my Mom as she does so much for me and my girls. Her selflessness is truly amazing.
