I was just looking through several slide shows of apparently the best dressed people at the Oscars. I really loved the dresses this year, they seemed to be on the vintage Hollywood side with long trains. I would give everything but the kitchen sinks for one. When I first looked through the Oscar slides I expected to see a few people on the worst dressed lists. Instead, they are on the best dressed lists.
Case in point: Natalie Portman in a flowing pepto bisomal pink dress. Pretty dress, pretty girl. The problem? It’s called the RED carpet. This is exactly why most actresses wear white, black, gold or gray. Red & bright pink are not a pretty color combination. It hurt my eyes.

The red carpet… There are ALWAYS A FEW(if not a BUNCH) of woman’s who are dressed awful! even if they do put them i the “best dressed” category… I scan threw people magazine sometimes and see the 2 page layout they always have and I like to go threw and guess which ones are dressed awful and dressed beautifully. The only problem is I always guess wrong, I don’t think I understand “fashion” I would think a bright pink pepto dress would be … unflattering at any occasion, but I guess the experts disagree with that. I never understood “fashion”. If I were famous I wouldn’t let my stylist dress me in half the things I see stars walking around in… but that’s just me..
