Onyx Earrings Giveaway

onyxo.jpg

This contest is closed but a new one starts on Monday!

Today is feeling kinda blah, which sometimes is worse than having an all out bad day because at least when you have a bad day it comes with cool stories and ranting rights. This is one of the reasons that I give away jewelry every week. To combat the blah. It infuses a little joy into the winner’s life and I get to read lots of great comments and have my faith in humanity restored. The winner can keep the jewelry or give it away to someone else. To enter the contest leave a comment with who you would give this to & why or a random act of kindness after reading the rules.

The prize this week are sterling silver and onyx dainty earrings in a circle shape.

The Rules:

Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.

Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.

If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.

Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. The subject line of the email will say something like “Random Acts of Bling: You Won” I’ll also announce the winner in a blog post. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.

If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.

Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

Shell Earrings Winner

The random number geenerator chose Sondra to win with her comment:

I would give these to my oldest daughter. She is raising 3 kids on her own with a full time job and full time college classes. These would be a nice gift for her.

A new contest starts on Monday.

Cute Apron Conundrum

I love all the vintage aprons in fun fabrics that I constantly see on etsy. Some of them look like dresses. I haven’t picked one up yet because I don’t cook. It seems like false advertising to get all dressed up to take chicken out of a box. Sometimes I cut up fruit and put it in a bowl. When I do try to cook I usually end up yelling “Why won’t you taste yummy?” at the food. I wish I had copper sinks, cooking skills and an apron. I think most of the organza aprons are called hostess aprons because you can’t get them dirty. At least I’d look domestic.
